YSF Canoe & Kayak Race

Join us again this year for the Festival’s Annual “Shot Gun Start” Canoe and Kayak Race.
Registration takes place at High Bank Road, South Yarmouth. We will have a shot gun start from Wilbur Park, 440 Highbank Road, South Yarmouth (weather permitting) and then paddle down historic Bass River with the outcoming tide to the Bass River Beach (aka Smuggler’s)
The race will be followed by food, fun, and prizes at the Sea Dog Brew Pub.

RACE RULES:
- All participants MUST have a C. G. approved P.F.D. (personal floatation device) on for the entire race.
- Any participant, under the age of 18, must have a consent form signed by parent or legal guardian.
- Canoes or kayaks may travel any course they choose in the river.
- All participants must fill out a registration form to be eligible.
